How to make a nomination for the RSPSoc Award
Nominations for these awards should be emailed to the Society’s office in Nottingham (see “contact RSPSoc” page) and must be received no later than 31st January 2012. In the case of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society Award, the nomination should be no more than the equivalent of two sides of A4.
How to make a nomination for the Student Award (PhD / MSc)
Nominations should be emailed to the RSPSoc Office in Nottingham (see “contact RSPSoc” page) by 31st January 2012. The nomination should consist of a pdf file copy of the thesis together with a letter of recommendation from the Supervisor stating why the thesis is worthy of the award and what original and noteworthy contributions have been made. Regarding the MSc prize, the masters degree can be for any designation of masters degree (e.g. MRes, MEng) and for taught masters.
How to make a nomination for the Len Curtis Award
Nominations should be emailed to the Society’s office in Nottingham (see “contact RSPSoc” page) and must be received no later than 31st January 2012. Copies of the nominated publication (or a link to this information) should be accompanied by a brief explanation of its significance and contribution.
How to make a nomination for the E H Thompson Award
Nominations should be emailed to the Society’s office in Nottingham (see “contact RSPSoc” page) and must be received no later than April in the year that the award will be presented. Copies of the nominated publication should be accompanied by a brief explanation of its significance and contribution.
