Professional Membership – Associate Fellow (AFRSPSoc)
Members of the RSPSoc are eligible to apply for the professional grade of Associate Fellow on completion of either:
- Postgraduate studies in which remote sensing or photogrammetry is a major and important component, and have two years relevant professional experience;
OR
- At least five years practicing remote sensing or photogrammetry in a professional capacity.
Associate Fellows have the same rights as Individual Members, the right to enjoyment of additional facilities and services being developed by the Society, and the entitlement to use the letters AFRSPSoc after their name.

- Heavily discounted subscription to the International Journal of Remote Sensing (RSPSoc’s international remote sensing journal, published by Taylor and Francis)
- Entitlement to apply for professional membership as Fellow (FRSPSoc) or Associate Fellow (AFRSPSoc) of the Society
