12th Annual International Symposium: “Space Solutions to Earth’s Global Challenges”

Organised by the International Space University (ISU). This ISU symposium will emphasise the benefits of the space program for society. In early 2008, proclaimed by the United Nations as The International Year of Planet Earth, we will be asking how space can address Earth’s global challenges in the 21st century, these ‘challenges’ including key issues such as climate change and environmental degradation, impending energy crises and resource depletion.
The program will include invited contributions from leading experts plus presentations and posters selected on the basis of abstracts submitted in response to the Call for Papers by the deadline date of 05 October 2007.
