ESRI student sponsorships for SilviLaser 2008 Conference
17th June, 2008 – 4th August, 2008
ESRI have kindly offered five student bursaries worth £275 each to cover the costs of conference registration and three nights accommodation at Heriot-Watt University for attendance of SilviLaser 2008 (September 17-19, 2008, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh). Please note that these bursaries do not cover travel costs to and from the conference.
SilviLaser 2008 will be the 8th international conference in a series focussing on applications of laser systems for forest assessment and inventory
Post-graduate students researching a relevant topic are encouraged to apply for an ESRI student sponsorship by submitting the following details to Dr Ross Hill (
) before the closing date of July 31:
• your name and affiliation
• your supervisor(s) name and details
• research project title
• 500 word project description.
In addition your application should be supported by an email submitted by your supervisor.
