FIG Workshop e-learning 2008

We would like to draw your attention to the following invitation for the International Workshop Sharing Good practices: e-learning in Surveying, Geo-information Sciences and Land Administration, taking place from 11-13 June 2008 in Enschede, The Netherlands, organized by FIG, Commission 2 and Commission 7, and the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC).

The deadline for submission of abstracts is extended to
15 February 2008. If you were not able yet to submit your abstract you can still do! You can easily submit your abstract through the workshop website: http://www.itc.nl/fig_elearning2008
Please consider a demonstration of new challenging e-learning tools, digital courseware, interesting instruction videos or interactive educational tools in Surveying, Geo-information Sciences and Land Administration. You can use the abstract-form to submit a proposal for a demonstration.
The workshop website has been updated with information on the recommended hotels under “accommodation”. You are encouraged to contact the hotel directly for your room bookings.
This Commission 2/Commission 7 Workshop takes place just before the FIG Working Week 2008 that will take place in Stockholm, Sweden from 13 to 19 June 2008. So you can easily combine the two events and visit both The Netherlands and Sweden.
