After the successful events of OBIA 2006 in Salzburg, Austria and GEOBIA 2008 in Calgary, Canada, we now present GEOBIA 2010 in Ghent, Belgium.

Call for Abstracts : June 2009

A short update:
• the call for abstracts was launched on June 5th and the abstracts are progressively coming in;
• we negotiated sponsorship and collaboration with Definiens and ITT and we are talking with two other providers;
• the Belgian Science Policy and Springer already committed financial support while we are in close contact with other sponsors;
• we achieved a confirmation on a special issue in Elsevier’s Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation to be published in 2011;
• GIM International will be our media partner.
