NERC ARSF Workshop

NERC’s Airborne Remote Sensing Facility (ARSF) will be holding a dedicated workshop immediately prior to the RSPSoc2007 Annual Conference in Newcastle. The workshop will:
This will provide an opportunity for projects using ARSF collected data to present their findings and ongoing results
Be an opportunity to meet members of the ARSF and other NERC facilities
Hold a hands-on session for the processing remotely sensed data

10:00 to 10:30 – Registration and coffee
10:30 to 11:00 – Welcome, introduction and overview (Peter Purcell, NERC)
11:00 to 13:00 – Presentations
13:00 to 14:00 – Lunch
14:00 to 16:00 – Hands-on practical session
16:00 to 16:30 – Tea and close
If you’ve used ARSF data and want to present an update on your work at this workshop please submit an abstract using the standard RSPSoc2007 online submission system at http://www.rspsoc2007.org, selecting ARSF from the sub theme catagory. Deadline for submission is the 1st June 2007.

The workshop will share some facilities with the RSPSoc 2007. A wide range of accommodation, from a basic student room to 5 star quayside hotels (marked above), is available from Monday 10th through to Friday 14th September, all at competitive prices.
