Archaeology SIG Annual Report 1998-99
The Archaeology SIG held its third meeting at the British Geological Survey on 24 March 1999, attended by over thirty delegates. The range of speakers reflected the current diverse interests of the SIG which range from satellite and aerial data gathering through to ground-based applications.
The group has also produced its second Newsletter during the year which reports on current thematic research as well as providing general information on various current archaeological projects using remote sensing as a tool.
The SIG steering group aims to continue with an annual day conference and Newsletter.
