Archaeology SIG Annual Report 2002-2003
The Archaeology SIG (ARCH_SIG) aims to encourage the exchange of research and methodology between remote sensing scientists and archaeological scientists, especially those concerned with methods of site prospection. Topics include aerial photography and digital data acquisition, photogrammetric methods, image processing, geophysical survey, and ground-based techniques for the examination of historic buildings.
Although the group held no meetings during the year it is planning to hold a technical seminar in the near future.
Details of forthcoming events may be viewed via the Society’s web pages.
